Write in Your Language & AI Translation (Multilingual Entry)

Choosing Your Report Language

This feature lets foreign team members write reports in their own language. In the "Report language" section of the "Settings" screen, choose the language you write reports in. The choices are Japanese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Filipino, Burmese, Simplified Chinese, Nepali, Spanish, and English. When you choose a language other than Japanese, the field names on the entry form appear in that language.

Writing and Submitting in Your Language

  1. Once your report language is set, the field names on the "Today's report" screen appear in your language.
  2. Fill in as usual in your language and submit with "Submit".
  3. On submit, AI automatically creates a Japanese translation and stores it alongside the original.

About AI Translation (Beta)

  • The AI Japanese translation on submit is a beta feature. The translation is an AI-generated assistive reference, while the original always stays the official record. If the translation and the original ever differ, the original prevails. Readers can see both the original and the translation at any time.

For Readers (Managers)

  • A report a member submitted in their own language shows the Japanese translation by default in the feed. Tap "Show original" to switch to the original language.
  • A report without a translation yet can be translated with "Generate translation". Below the translation, the note "Automatically translated by AI (assistive). If anything differs, the original text prevails. The original is always available." is shown.

Native-Language Voice

  • With your report language set to your own language, voice entry ("Speak to Fill In", beta) also works in that language. AI asks follow-up questions in your language.

Enabling the Multilingual Add-On

  • Multilingual entry is available in companies where the "multilingual add-on" is enabled. Managers and admins can toggle it on or off from the multilingual add-on section in the "Settings" screen. The add-on card on the "Plan & billing" screen shows the current status and price and links to the "Settings" screen (the card itself is not a toggle).
  • In companies where the add-on is off, the report-language setting is hidden and reports are handled in Japanese. Check the price on the add-on card on the "Plan & billing" screen.
