If you missed the report for an earlier business day, you can still write it. A submitted report can also be corrected and sent again. Both are possible within 7 days of the report's date.

1. Write the report you missed

  1. Open “Today's report”. Only when the previous business day is missing, a link offers to write that day's report.
  2. Pressing the link switches to the entry screen for that day. The date you are writing for is shown at the top.
  3. Fill it in as usual and press “Submit”. The message naming that day means you are done.

Tip: Backfilled entries skip the mood question. The submission time recorded is the moment you actually pressed the button.

2. Edit a report you submitted

Caution: Resubmitting cancels any sign-off on that report and turns it back to unread for readers. If your company uses sign-off, tell your manager that you changed it.

  1. On a submitted report, press “Edit this report” to switch to “Edit submitted report”.
  2. Rewrite the fields you want to correct. To stop, press “Cancel editing”.
  3. Press “Resubmit with changes”. Back on the submitted view means you are done.

If it does not work

Caution: Backfilling and editing are both limited to 7 days from the report's date. Older reports can no longer be rewritten.

FAQ

  • What date does a backfilled report carry? — The day you backfilled. Only the submission time is the moment you pressed the button.
  • How does an edit look to readers? — It returns as unread and the sign-off is cancelled. Comments and reactions stay.
  • Is there a limit on edits? — No. Within 7 days you can correct a report any number of times.
  • What about days older than 7 days? — They cannot be backfilled. Write that content into today's report, or talk to your manager.
