Speak to Fill In (Voice Entry, Beta)
How to Use It
- On the "Today's report" screen, tap the microphone button (🎤) near the top. The button is labeled "Start voice entry". The first time, your browser will ask for microphone permission.
- Talk normally about what happened today. You don't need to think about individual fields — just talk through everything at once (recording stops automatically after 3 minutes).
- Tap the stop button (■), and AI sorts what you said into the report's fields as a draft.
- If any required fields are still missing, AI asks follow-up questions (up to 3). You can answer by voice or by typing. If optional fields are empty, an "AI check" lists them, but answering is not required.
- When "Applied to the form" appears, review and edit the draft, then submit it as usual with the "Submit" button.
Important Notes (Beta Feature)
- Speak to Fill In is a beta feature. AI only creates a draft. You are the one who submits it — always review the content before submitting.
- The mood question is never asked by voice (you'll choose it yourself after submitting). Photos are also outside the scope of voice entry.
- If voice recognition doesn't work well, or the feature isn't shown, you can always fill in the report the usual way by tapping.
Native-Language Voice Entry
- If your report language is set to something other than Japanese, you can speak in your own language. AI asks follow-up questions in that language and builds the draft in that language (see the separate manual "Write in Your Language & AI Translation (Multilingual Entry)").
- Native-language voice entry is available in companies where the multilingual add-on is enabled.
If Something Goes Wrong
- If you denied microphone permission, re-enable the microphone for this site from your browser settings.
- On noisy sites, holding the device closer to your mouth improves recognition accuracy.
- If the microphone button itself doesn't appear, AI features may be disabled for your plan or environment. Please contact support.
If the Recording Is Too Short
- If the recording is too short — for example from an accidental tap — it is not sent, and you see the hint "The recording was too short, so it was not sent. Tap the mic, finish speaking, then stop".
- In this case no draft is created. Tap the microphone button again, and press the stop button (■) only after you finish speaking.
