Clock in and out
Where“Time clock” in “Today's report”
On this page
When your company's template includes the “Time clock” field, you stamp your start and end times from the entry screen. Hours worked, with breaks deducted, are calculated for you.
Important: The “Time clock” field exists to write the day's working times into the report. It is not a payroll or workforce management system: there are no overtime alerts, no approval flow, and no location tracking.
Steps
- When you start, press “Now” under “Clock in” in the “Time clock” field. The current time goes in as it is.
- When you finish, press “Now” under “Clock out”.
- On a day you took a break, type the minutes into “Break”.
- A time you forgot to stamp can be typed directly into the time box.
- Once both times are in, “Worked … h” appears. Submit the report and the record is complete.
If it does not work
- “Worked … h” does not appear — one of the two times is empty, or the break leaves zero or less. Check all three boxes.
- Yesterday's stamps do not come with the copy — stamps are that day's facts, so press “Now” each day.
- A night shift ends on the next day — when the end time is earlier than the start time, it is counted as the following day. Enter the times as they are.
FAQ
- I cannot find the “Time clock” field? — It is not in your company's template. An admin or manager can add it.
- Do the hours reach the rollups? — Yes. “KPI rollups” under “Stats” shows them by total, by day and by member, and they are in the CSV.
- Can I correct a time later? — Yes. Before submitting, on the spot; afterwards, from “Edit this report”.
- Can I submit with only the stamps? — Yes, as long as the other required fields are filled in.
