A report does not appear in the feed
When a report that should have been submitted does not appear in the “Feed”, the cause is usually that it was marked as read, that a team filter is on, or that it belongs to a team you do not cover. This article gives the order to check and how to fix it.
Check first
- Whether “You're all caught up” is shown. A report is marked as read once it has been on screen, and it leaves the unread list.
- Whether the team selector at the top is narrowed to a single team.
- Whether the author finished submitting. A report left as a draft is not listed.
- Whether the report belongs to a team you cover. A manager can read only the reports of their own teams.
- What the submission date is. Reports from before today are not in today's list.
How to fix
Step 1: Show today's submissions including the ones you read
Select “All today” at the top of the “Feed”. Today's submissions are listed including the ones already read, and you are done when the report appears. From the finished screen you can also open “View all of today's submissions (including read)”.
Step 2: Clear the team filter
Choose “All teams” in the team selector at the top. You are done when reports from every team you cover are listed.
Step 3: Check the submission itself
Open “Status” in the navigation (the screen heading reads “Submissions”) and look at that person's cell for that day. If it is missing, the report does not exist yet. Ask the author to submit.
Step 4: Look for reports from before today
Open “Search”, type words from the report such as the site name or the work done, and narrow by member and period (7 / 30 / 90 days). You are done when the submitted report appears in the results.
Still not working?
- Message shown: “Could not resolve your member profile.” — Cause: your sign-in has expired — Fix: sign in again.
- If the team assignment itself is wrong, correct it on the “Members” screen. See Set roles and teams for the steps.
- If none of this helps, paste the symptom into “How-to question” in “Support” at the bottom right of the screen, or contact us from “Report a bug”.
