Sign-off — approve a report
For: Admin / ManagerJapan plan
Where“Approve” on “Feed”
Sign-off leaves the approver's name on a report you have read. This article covers approving a report on “Feed”, undoing an approval, and how approval carries through to printing and external sharing.
1. Approve a report
- Read the report on “Feed” and press “Approve” below the text.
- You are done once the approver's name appears on the report.
Tip: Open an approved report from “PDF” and the approver's name and time are printed in the “Reviewed by (signature)” field.
2. Undo an approval
- Press “Undo approval” beside the approved mark.
- You are done when the approver's name disappears and “Approve” returns.
Caution: When the writer submits the report again, the approval clears itself. Read the new content before approving again.
If it does not work
- “Approve” is not there — “Report sign-off” is off under “Features” in “Notifications & org defaults” in “Manage” (members see it as “Settings”). An admin or manager can switch it on.
- Pressing it does nothing and a red notice says it could not be saved — the connection dropped. Press it again where there is signal.
- “This approval has already been undone.” appears — another admin undid it first. Reopen the screen for the latest state.
