Send confirmation requests and see who acknowledged
For: Admin / Manager
“Confirmations” lets you ask specific members to acknowledge something — a notice, a new menu — apart from daily reports. Recipients reply by selecting “Acknowledge”. This article covers sending a request and following who acknowledged.
1. Send a confirmation request
Caution: “Send” delivers the request to every member you selected. Check the subject and the recipients before you select it.
- Open “Status”, switch to “Confirmations” at the top, and select “Send a confirmation request”.
- Write what you want checked, briefly, in “Subject”. You can add anything to watch out for in “Details (optional)”.
- To show a notice or an item, pick photos from “Attach photos”.
- Choose the people in “Recipients”. “Select everyone” picks them all.
- Select “Send”. You return to the list and the request appears under “Requests you sent”.
2. See who acknowledged
Caution: “Delete this request” removes the request for every recipient together with the acknowledgment records so far. It cannot be undone.
- Open the request you want to follow from “Requests you sent” in “Confirmations”.
- The recipients are listed with their status. Anyone who has not replied shows “Not yet”, and anyone who has shows the date and time.
- The list also shows how many people have acknowledged, so you can tell whether everyone is done.
- When a request is no longer needed, select “Delete this request” and answer the confirmation. It disappears from the list and you are done.
If it does not work
- The recipient does not notice — a notice appears above their entry screen. Ask them to open it from “Review”.
- “Send a confirmation request” is missing — only admins and managers can create requests.
- You are not in the recipient list — the person who creates a request is not included. If you also need to reply, ask someone else to create it.
FAQ
- What does the recipient do? — They open the request and select “Acknowledge”. The date and time are recorded.
- Can an acknowledgment be taken back? — No. The record stays as it is.
- Does it also arrive by email? — No. It is delivered by the in-app notice and the “Confirmations” list.
- How is this different from a daily report? — A report is the daily record; a request is a one-off ask to specific people.
- How is this different from the “Checked” reaction? — “Checked” is a light reaction on a report. “Acknowledge” on a request is a record the sender can track, person by person.
