Using the App & Submitting Offline

Add to Home Screen

Adding to your home screen lets you open today's entry with one tap, just like an app. Guidance is also in the "Use as an app" section of the "Settings" screen.

• iPhone: Open in Safari, tap the share button (□↑), then choose "Add to Home Screen".
• Android: Open in Chrome, tap the menu (⋮), then choose "Install app".

After adding, open it directly from the home screen icon. No app-store download is required.

Submitting Where Signal Is Weak or Absent

• Submitted data is first saved on your device and held until it can be sent. A submission is never lost.
• The sending state is shown on screen: "Sending…" then "✓ Submission confirmed" means done. When there's no signal, you'll see "⏳ Waiting to send — retries automatically once you're back online".
• You can keep working even in the "waiting to send" state. It sends automatically once you're back online or when you reopen the app.

When You Open the App Offline

• If you open the app with no signal, it shows "You're offline" and the note "Please reopen when you're back online. Your draft and any pending submissions are saved on this device."
• Your draft in progress and any pending submissions remain on the device, so you can pick up where you left off once you reopen after signal returns.
