Switch the display language
Where“Language” in “Settings”
On this page
You choose the display language for yourself: English or Japanese. It takes two presses in “Settings”, and your notification emails switch to the same language.
Steps
The display language is per person. Other members' screens do not change.
- Open “Settings” and scroll to “Language”.
- Press “English” or “日本語”.
- The screen reloads in that language, and the button you chose is highlighted. That is all.
Tip: The language you choose is saved to your account, so signing in on another device opens in the same language.
If it does not work
- Some text stays in Japanese after choosing “English” — words your company entered, such as field names and team names, are shown as written. Field names are edited under “Report template”.
- Another device still opens in Japanese — if that device opened a Japanese page before you signed in, its own setting can win. Choose again under “Language” there, and that choice is saved from then on.
FAQ
- Do notification emails change too? — Yes. Reminders and the morning digest arrive in the language you chose.
- Is this the same as writing reports in my own language? — No, that is a separate setting under “Report language” in “Settings”. See Write reports in your own language.
- Can an admin switch the whole company at once? — No. The display language is a per-member setting.
- Do submitted reports become English? — No. Only headings and buttons switch; the text people wrote stays as it is.
